N.B. All exhibits except Geldings to be entered in or eligible for entry in the Shire Stud Book or Grade Registers 'A & B', Geldings must be the progeny of a Shire Stallion, name of sire to be stated on entry form. Points towards the Derbyshire and District Shire Horse Association Foal Championship will be awarded in Class HH3 to paid up members of the Association only. 1st 3 points, 2nd 2 points, 3rd 1 point. Rosettes will be awarded by the Association to third place. Derbyshire County Show is a qualifier for the foal accumulator class for Mobberley & District Shire Horse Society. Final takes place at Poynton, August 24th 2024. Entries cannot be accepted at Affiliated Shows in classes for Shires or Heavy Horses from any person who has been either suspended or removed from membership of the Shire Horse Society, or has been excluded from exhibiting for prizes at Shows, Sales or Exhibitions, or from taking part in any Show organised by the Shire Horse Society. The winner of the Shire Horse Society Silver Spoon Award must be a member of the Shire Horse Society. No animal to be eligible to take more than one Silver Spoon during any one year. The National Shire Horse Society Show being excepted. The Shire Horse Society reserves the right in offering Spoons, to award them only to persons approved by the Shire Horse Society.
